So I’ve been going over my transits and my daughter’s transit. We’re in a readjusting phase right now in life. She’s 2 going on 3 and is very strong in expressing her likes and dislikes. Luckily for her, she chose a mother that understands and is willing to give her the space she needs to figure out what she truly likes and dislikes. It’s not that big of a deal to me. My goal is to raise a child that understands her personal power and the importance of her voice.
I laugh every time I hear that 5th house kids are the badass kids. I can definitely see how that can be. My natal chart has a busy 5th house. A strong 5th house with mars, pluto, and mercury. So I’m already preparing for any future kids to have just as much energy as my first. She is very high energy, very vocal, pretty dramatic lol but comical. I’d we are opposites, so I enjoy her being so…. individualistic. she’s entertaining as hell to me however on her not-so-happy days she definitely challenges me to exercise patience and be the parent I needed during those times. I have learned very quickly that I have to make sure she has outlets for her energy. I let her go outside and run around, color and write in her notebooks, jump around and I join in and we have dance parties. She for sure is going to keep me young and active, in order to keep up with her. I am very intentional about supporting and guiding my child without overstepping or over-mothering her. It’s hard. I definitely just want to step in and fix the issue so we can move on but I am learning to let her have her feelings and let her work herself through it.
Having an in-depth understanding of our individual communication and nurturing styles and needs has helped me navigate these 2 years.
